Information you choose to send
The enquiry form requests your name, email, optional organization, area of interest, and a short message. Sending the form requests a reply about that enquiry; it is not a newsletter signup.
Please do not include passwords, personal records, classified material, or other confidential information. We can discuss an appropriate way to share project materials before any such materials are exchanged.
How enquiries are used
The information you provide is used to review your enquiry, contact you, and discuss a possible project or respond to a privacy request. Access should be limited to people who need it to handle that enquiry.
Website and form providers
This website is prepared for hosting and form processing through Netlify. On the live deployment, form submissions are processed by Netlify and made available to Cognitive Ascent. Hosting and form services may process technical information such as IP addresses and request details for delivery, security, and spam prevention.
Provider processing may take place outside Canada. Do not use this public form for information with a specific data-residency or confidentiality requirement.
Analytics and browser storage
This build does not include advertising pixels or analytics scripts. Its own JavaScript does not set cookies or persist form drafts in your browser. Hosting providers may maintain operational logs; browser caching may also retain public website assets.
Retention and requests
Enquiry information is retained as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting working relationship, subject to applicable record-keeping requirements. For questions, corrections, or deletion requests, use the contact form and choose “A privacy request.” Do not send additional sensitive information with that request.
Changes
This notice should be updated when the website’s tools or information-handling practices change. The date above identifies this version.
